Chalked Pink Dotty Bear Card { POW Project 2 }

Hi,
I like the way this bear turned out, I got a bit of a surprise actually, I thought the outline of the bear would go a darker pink as it did on the white paper but quite the opposite happened. The pink went on my black card and the outline resisted it.

I actually sat with my two sets of chalks and the 4047KG Edward Sitting Bear stamp and covered an A5 black card in different colours just to see what they looked like. My pink bear here is from the 42004 Shimmers Chalk Set in the darkest pink. You cannot see it in the picture but these chalks Shimmer like make up does, like they have the finest amount of glitter through them. Once again I have used the Bella range of papers to complement my card. The green ric rac is from the #6069 Mayhem mixed ribbon pack.

Square Chalked Butterfly Card { POW Project 1 }

Hi ,



I again managed to squeeze in some creating time. For my first chalking project I have made a simple yet effective square mat card. I have used Perfect Medium to stamp the # 4018KC Butterfly and then colour with # 42001 Basic Brights Chalks. My square mats are from the Bella Paper Range, the bottom layer I edged with black vivid and the top layer has been edged with coordinating fluid chalk colours. I have raised the second layer with Magic Mount.

I best be off if I am to get more chalk projects on here for the week.

Paper Frenzy { POW Project 2 } Bella Scrap Pages & Cards

Hi ,

I finally found some time to play yesterday, sorry bout the bad photo's I took them late last night. I really like the window card although if you look real closely you'll see I really need to practise lining the stitches stamp up :(

Another bad photo, I will try to recreate them. I started out this design with the idea of patchwork quilts...as you can see it didn't turn out that way.

I would love to see if anyone could come up with a patchwork quilt type layout in Bella & post it to their blog or if you haven't got a blog email me and I can publish it on my blog for you.

Paper Frenzy {POW Project 1} Mothers Day Card

Hi Everyone,

I am back to play blog wars once again. This weeks theme is Paper Frenzy, I will use a different Paper from the Kaszazz Range each day , this week I have promised me to get some scrap pages up. With Mothers Day fast approaching I thought I would start my Mum's presents, Shhhh don't tell her what I am making.

Today I have played with some 4974 Bracket / Houndstooth paper from the Ebony & Ivory Range, Tree & Bird stamps from the #4814 Love and Cherish Stamp Set, #4696 Flower Daisies, #4421 Mini Round Fasteners - Antique, #4656 Chipboard Pop outs 12 x 12 - Tags , Slides & More, #4759 Rustic 12 x 12 Journal Aids & [Contraband] Ribbons out my stash, #TIM19510 Tea Dye Distress Ink pad & #71008 Blue Lagoon Fluid Chalk Ink pad . I was trying to be all arty, I will let you know at the end of the week if this one goes to my Mum.
